Joel Tesch Welcome to my gallery!

I have exhibited in several locations in California and throughout the Southeast US.

My Celestials, Wild Skies, Symphony of Trees and Spellbinders & Dreamcatchers series bring to life a vibrant world bursting with colors, movement and hope emerging from a dramatic perspective. Contrast plays a big part in all my work: contrast in colors, order vs chaos, geographic shapes alongside fluid, abstract motion. My Portals Perceptions Visions series take the overall theme of contrast and presents it through a surrealistic style. This continues in my Wente Wine Labels series (used for Wente Vineyards Artist Series wines in 2018). My Landscapes and Urban series convey nature and city life respectively via a modern, contemporary approach. My Abstractions series provides an abstract visual to contrast, bold colors and themes. My most popular series continues to be my Pop Art & Portraits series...dynamic portraits of pop, sports, and historic icons. I also have a series or pro wrestling portraits done for the PW Torch publication.

A native of Raleigh, NC, I grew up with an artistic bent from an early age. After living in several different locations (Raleigh, Chapel Hill, Charlotte, Atlanta, San Francisco and London), I settled back in the San Francisco Bay Area five years ago with my wife Leela and 3 daughters (Carly, 9 and identical twins Valerie & Isla, 7) and established my studio and art business, Joel Tesch Studio.

I am active in art shows and actively pursue exhibition opportunities and commissions.
